Alpenhotel Tirolerhof

Dinner was so good that I kept eating more than planned, diet forgotten. The staff were incredibly friendly and seemed to provide whatever was needed before I even had to ask. When our car got stuck, someone came to help without being asked. There was plenty of parking, and the internet was adequate. I just wish they had a drinks menu, since we couldn't tell what was available.

The kitchen staff were especially kind, and the whole team made sure we felt looked after, checking in and bringing food without leaving us waiting. The food was really nice, too. The slopes are very close, and we had a parking spot in the garage. It's a great value for money, and I'd recommend it.

The food was a real highlight. Breakfast and dinner were very good, and half board was worth the price. The spa was pleasant and clean, and the staff were lovely. The rooms were okay, but could do with renovation soon; we could hear everything from the neighboring room. Wine by the glass or bottle at dinner was far too expensive. And you can't walk to the lift in ski boots, so you need to take the ski bus or your own car. A fun detail: about 95% of the guests were from the Netherlands, as were most of the staff. Dutch seemed to be the preferred language, both in the hotel and around Gerlos.

The bus stops right outside Tirolerhof and gets you to the lift in about five minutes, so the ski access was easy. We spent five nights there in mid-March 2025 for a few days on the slopes. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and both breakfast and dinner buffets were great. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended for a stay in the Zillertal Arena.
