Garni Jennewein

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of food, and the room was spacious, very clean, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of champagne. Hotel Garni Jennewein is right in the heart of Mayrhofen, close to restaurants, pubs, and shops, and just a four-minute walk from the Gondola. Communication before arrival went smoothly, and there were no issues. Petra and all the staff were incredibly kind. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it!

The breakfast was great, the sauna was good, and the ski lift was close by. My room’s balcony door had been fitted incorrectly and wouldn’t shut. I pointed it out to the owner, who seemed a little surprised. With the après-ski noise outside carrying on until around 2:30 a.m., it was hard to sleep with the door letting sound in. There weren’t any other rooms available, so they offered us an apartment farther down the road, which was kind of them. But we’d chosen this place for its breakfast and sauna, so that didn’t really work for us. Nothing else was offered, and we left a bit disappointed.

I’ve stayed here three times already and will definitely be back. The owners are kind and helpful, and breakfast is pretty good, with things like scrambled eggs, fruit salad, and müsli. The spa area is amazing and included in the stay: herbal sauna at 60º, Finnish sauna at 90º, and an infrared sauna, plus a relaxing area with free drinks. Harakiri nightclub is nearby, though, so it can get a little noisy.

The staff were amazing, and the location was excellent. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, and breakfast had everything.
