We came back for a second stay and were just as happy with it. The hotel is lovely and peaceful, with friendly staff, a good half-board option and a comfortable wellness area. Parking was plentiful, the surroundings are beautiful, and there are mountain views plus a great summer card for family outings. My wife especially liked the herb garden and all the decorations around the hotel and grounds.

The Finnish-style sauna and pool were a real bonus, and the service ran smoothly throughout our short family summer break at Handlerhof, Maria Alm. Our room and the shared spaces were all very clean and nicely decorated. The food was excellent, and from the balcony we had an incredibly beautiful view of the Austrian Alps and alpine meadows.

Dinner here made for a special evening. The setting was beautiful, and both the service and food were excellent. I'd absolutely recommend it.

It is on the pricey side, but the service is really nice. The Kaspressknödelsuppe is worth trying, and in Salzburg it's a must anyway :) Their Salzburger Nockerl also make a great dessert.

A beautiful, very quiet spot with excellent service. We only stopped briefly to rest while out on a motorbike tour.
