Buchauhof Maria Alm

There’s plenty to do nearby for all ages, with restaurants, playgrounds, hiking trails and shops close at hand. The apartments are cozy, spotlessly clean, and superbly equipped, with everything thought through inside and out. The Aigner family was always available if we had questions. We had a wonderful week at Buchauhof. Thank you, we’ll be back!

The Aigners are such warm, friendly hosts. They let us join in with the daily stable chores, ask all kinds of questions, and try things ourselves, which was fantastic. The vacation apartment is a dream, with modern, high-quality furnishings and everything fully equipped. It was also exceptionally clean. We loved Buchauhof and are already looking forward to coming back in summer!

Nina and Martin, their children, and the whole family made us feel so welcome. Our kids were soon collecting eggs, getting WhatsApp messages when the ponies were brought in from the pasture, and joining countless football games. They loved every minute and would happily have stayed forever. The farm at the foot of the Steinernes Meer mountain range is idyllic and a dream for children. Ours are 4 and 9, and they had football, table tennis, a trampoline, and all the animals: guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, a dog, chickens, and ponies. We stayed 10 wonderful days in a beautiful, brand-new, superbly equipped holiday apartment. There’s loads to do in summer, from mountain biking and hiking to mountain playgrounds, including the Prinzenberg playground with its forest slides right in Maria Alm. An outdoor swimming pool is just a 2-minute bike ride away, and there’s a river next door for playing. We’re already looking forward to our next summer holiday with you in Maria Alm.

We loved watching the milking and getting to see your animals. The three of us were warmly welcomed and felt right at home in Nina and Martin's holiday apartment. It was so well equipped that we didn’t miss a thing. Thanks for a lovely week with you! 🥰
