Pension Tyrol

We had a lovely stay as a couple. The owners were very kind and happy to help us find things we needed. Breakfast was generous, with lots of different food, and there was plenty of space to eat. We could park for free and sit outside at tables in the courtyard. The place is also well positioned for visiting lots of nearby spots. It was clean and quiet.

The rooms are really small.

The evenings were a lovely part of our stay, with Mr. Kožuch telling us about the surrounding region and his work in alpine huts. Our rooms were tidy, clean, and peaceful, and the weather was wonderful. We stayed three nights, June 18-22, and this was already the fourth time our group of seven motorbike friends had visited Pension Tyrol in Maria Alm. Even after Mr. Kožuch took over this year, the standard stayed high and his personal attention made things even better. He checked in with us and gladly took care of our requests. The cook made delicious Czech food, including homemade dumplings, Moravian cabbage, salads, and tasty sides. We also had fresh homemade pastries for breakfast, with the cook getting up at five to prepare them, and the Pilsner beer was poured perfectly. We left very satisfied and would recommend Pension Tyrol to anyone looking for Czech food, friendly hospitality, and a homely feel in the Alps.

The breakfast was a real treat, especially the scrambled eggs and lovely fruit. I only stayed one night, but the room was great and had all I needed. I'd happily book here again if I'm back in the area.
