We arrived after dark on a mid-September evening, and within an hour we were already wishing our three-day reservation were longer. The room is wonderfully spacious and elegant, filled with light, with balconies all around and excellent lake views. It’s an awesome location, and the weather has been perfect for us so far. This is our first lakeside holiday in Austria, and what a fabulous place to spend it. I hope I’m not gushing too much, but I’d give it 10 out of 10 and highly recommend this delightful little Shangri-la.

Breakfast on the balcony with that amazing view was a highlight. There’s a private beach and pond right in front, with everything needed to relax. The rooms have all the basics, including a small kitchenette with a fridge, kettle and oven. You can walk to the town centre and restaurants, and the owner Gaby is friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

The road and stairs up are very steep, and buses from Reifnitz run infrequently, so having a car is best. There’s parking provided, and the nearby small town of Reifnitz has a supermarket and bus station. The rooms are great, especially with a kitchen and fridge, and the view from the room and balcony was amazing 😍. Good price, too. The owner and staff were very friendly and polite. We had a great experience.
