AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Carpe Solem

We made good use of the wellness and pool facilities, and the LungauCard activities available to hotel guests were a lovely extra. Our apartment had captivating views of the surrounding landscape, and the reception team were warm, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. The whole experience exceeded what we expected, and it was a wonderful family holiday. We’d happily tell friends and relatives about Carpe Solem Mariapfarr by ALPS RESORTS and encourage them to visit.

The staff here deserve ten stars. They were kind and ready to help, including when we needed to get to the hospital and when our car broke down. We’ve stayed at Carpe Solem three times now, and each visit we’ve had a spacious, clean, luxurious room. The underground garage is a real plus, and we enjoyed the wellness area too. We’ve already booked for the summer, since we’ve been so pleased with every stay.

The value for money is hard to beat. Our apartment was modern, clean, and had everything we needed, including a welcome kit with a sponge, dishwasher tablets, and a brush. The staff were kind and the WiFi was excellent. If you’re fine with a 12-15 minute drive to Katschberg ski resort, this could be your ideal stay.

The apartment itself was clean and finished to a high standard, but choose a higher floor if you can. The biggest unit, Jupiter, is on the ground floor with its entrance straight off the parking lot and parking spaces right in front of the bedroom and living room windows. We weren’t told this in advance, and the pictures show a nice view of the landmark. In practice, we had to keep the curtains shut all the time. About once a week, we’d find bins right by the entrance when we got home, and they’d still be there in the morning when we left to ski. Staff said there was nothing they could do. Not allowing parking right outside the apartment would solve it, though I suppose that would mean less parking revenue for the property.
