We spent a really relaxing few days at Pension Klug, a lucky find through Google. The house has been beautifully renovated and is in a quiet spot. Our small suite had a little bedroom, a living room, bathroom and toilet, plus a lovely terrace overlooking the big garden and impressive mountain scenery. Breakfast was generous, served in a sunny room by Mrs. Klug. There were fresh pastries, cold cuts, cheese, jams, and very fresh eggs from her three hens. On our arrival day, she’d baked a delicious plum cake and served it at breakfast. She was friendly and full of useful information, chatting with us and suggesting outings such as Erlaufsee and Gemeindealpe, as well as parking tips for Mariazell. Her two spaniels were adorable. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back. Thank you, Mrs. Klug.
