The hosts are a wonderful couple, and their farm feels like a little paradise surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are horses, dogs, three lovely cats, goats, and rabbits. I hadn’t expected the terrain to have so much elevation, which was a great surprise. The scenery is beautiful without needing to go to the Alps, and there are well-developed cycling routes and several lovely waterfalls nearby. It’s a great choice for a proper countryside break, with no big towns around, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Just plan ahead for groceries and pharmacy items, since those places don’t open on Sundays.

We left very disappointed with how the service has declined since the owner's daughter and her arrogant husband took over. Stefan, who organizes the horse tours, didn’t treat guests equally or answer questions. The riding experience was unpleasant: he took the horse through muddy ground that didn’t suit the horses or riders, and I cut the tour short. The house is in the middle of nowhere, and the nearby cafe/restaurant is closed. That’s especially impractical when the new family seems unwilling to provide services. The bathrooms were closed, and you had to wait to get answers to questions. We left feeling sour and decided never to return. Look elsewhere in the area, and don’t spend your money on a stay here.
