A few members of staff were really nice, but I came away disappointed with the visit and the service. The room didn’t feel cosy, and the price didn’t seem justified by the facilities. There were no mattress protectors, and I could see what looked like blood stains on the mattress through the sheets, which was disgusting. Dinner and breakfast were alright, but nowhere near great, and the dessert cake was overpriced. Paying was a mess too, with a lot of misunderstanding, and the waitress even took the money out of my hand, which was unacceptable. It might do for one night, but it isn’t worth the price or the four-star rating. Unfortunately, there aren’t many other options if you have to stay in the area.

The owner was rude. When I explained that this was no way to treat guests, he cursed at me in German. After four nights without sleep, I admit I wasn’t very friendly either. Every other night there was a private party guests couldn’t join, with music so loud I couldn’t sleep. They wouldn’t close the doors to make the noise bearable. Breakfast was disgusting, with flies already eating the food. The key cards kept failing, so I had to go to reception every night to reactivate mine. If nobody was there, I had to call the owner, who got angry at being woken up. The air conditioning didn’t work every time, and the rooms looked like they’d been designed by someone blind. A creepy Austrian-style hotel. Don’t go.
