Dinner was very good, though their take on vitello tonnato wasn’t a classic version. We stayed one night on the way from Dolomites to Innsbruck. The room was old but comfortable, while the shower cabin was so small it was hard to move without hitting the shower gel dispenser. The body towels were surprisingly small, and we thought they needed replenishing. Check-out was at 10:30, early by most hotel standards, and at 10:00 a maid entered without waiting for a response. It felt like she was warning us to leave soon. We didn’t have breakfast, and for what we paid, it wasn’t good value.

We really enjoyed this lovely, cozy hotel, and it was great value for money. It’s right by the train station, so getting there from Innsbruck by train is easy.

The kids loved the quaint bowling alley and foosball table, and our quadruple room was spacious and very nice. The staff were lovely, and the hotel is convenient, just off the highway between Italy (Vipiteno) and Innsbrook. I’d definitely return. One thing I wasn’t happy about was the wine price: we ordered 1/4 lt of house wine and paid 13 euros for Big John, which costs about €10 for a full bottle in the store. I also paid for the room in advance through online check-in, but at checkout they said they hadn’t received the payment, so I’ll need to check my bank in case I was charged twice. The online check-in didn’t get any of the information I entered, including details for everyone in our party, so I’d avoid using it.

We found a place to stay here late in the evening. The room was luxurious, and breakfast was great, with a gluten-free option too. It wasn’t cheap, but it was worth it. I also liked the hotel’s sustainability policy, which you can see throughout the place.
