Brunner - Reiteralm

We spent one night camping with our Wohnmobil. It was already quiet when we arrived late in the evening. The gravel pitch was nice and level, with a lovely mountain view. In mid September, the price for 2+2 kids was a little higher than we expected, at >75€/night.

The food tasted good, which is why I gave it 2 stars, but I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. The menu is limited and misses basics, including any kind of chicken main dish. I ordered tomato soup with mozarella from the menu, but got plain tomato soup because they said there was no mozarella for it. My friends’ pizzas were not bad. On our first day, the waitress laughed at us for trying to dine without a reservation. The next day we booked for six and said we only speak English. When we arrived, she asked if one English menu was enough; we asked for more, but she said they only had one. Why ask? They can’t speak English, the staff are rude, and it’s more expensive than other places nearby.

We spent several days at the campsite and found it very pleasant. There were useful facilities, including a kitchen and fridge, and plenty of space. It’s right on the Enns bike road.

The hotel is a short distance from the pistes, with ski rental services nearby. It also has a spa with a sauna and a resting area, plus a large ski storage room with enough seats for four people at a time. The rooms are well maintained, the food is great, and the staff are friendly. A wonderful hotel and a great experience.
