There’s a restaurant in the hotel, and breakfast was standard European fare with warm scrambled eggs. Parking was plentiful, and check-in and check-out were easy. My room was large and clean, with a great view from the balcony. The walls are thin, though, so you’ll hear your neighbors. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

We arrived close to midnight after missing our flight, and the owners had food ready for our group. They worked hard to look after us throughout the stay. Breakfast was a very nice buffet, and the dinners we had at the inn were all good, with four courses each time. Our spacious room had a balcony facing the mountains behind the inn, plus storage above the bed for carry-on luggage and backpacks. We left the windows open at night and slept comfortably, even as temperatures fell into the 50s. There are no window screens, so insects can get in. The inn is less than 30 minutes from Innsbruck, and we used it as a base for trips around Austria and to Southern Germany. A very good experience.

There’s no air conditioning, but the hotel is in the mountains and the windows open. I was there with a large tour group, and the hotel went out of its way to provide great service and food. It felt beautiful and homely. I posted the view from my room.

Beautiful views stretch across the valley from the hotel, and deer can sometimes be seen around the property early in the morning. The village is a 10-minute walk away. It’s a great place with a nice, quiet atmosphere, and the food was spot on, very Austrian. I’ll definitely visit again.
