Fichtenheim

The ski bus is only a few minutes away on foot, and there's an après-ski bar just around the corner. We had two lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds, each with its own brand-new bathroom. The rain shower was fantastic. The newly renovated apartment also has a balcony that wraps around it, a great spot to sit in the sun. Highly recommended!

We felt right at home and will definitely come back. The house is quiet, though just a few minutes' walk from the town center and Penkenbahn. The hosts are super friendly, and the newly renovated apartments are furnished with lots of care and comfort. There's ski storage in the basement, although we used a locker at the lift.

Parking for four cars was available. We stayed as a group of six and found the shared kitchen and living room perfectly adequate. Each bedroom had a nice bathroom. The two lifts are within walking distance, and the ski bus stops 300 meters from the apartment.

The owner was polite and nice, but we wouldn't choose this vacation apartment again. We had a wonderful time in Mayrhofen over Christmas, though a few things about the place bothered all of us. The kitchen in our apartment had too little equipment, so we ended up washing dishes every day. The towels were never changed, and the decor felt very old-fashioned, though that's a matter of taste. It also isn't suited to tall people: someone bumped their head on the low door arches at least once a day.
