We were only there for one night, and the room was much bigger than we expected. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast arrangement with the hotel next door worked perfectly. Right in the middle of Matrei, it’s easy to get to restaurants and the gondola to the ski resort. We’d stay again.

We picked this guesthouse at random and were glad we did. The hostess was especially kind and charming. Breakfast was included and really nice, and the room was good quality with strong Wi-Fi and a lovely mountain view. There’s a huge terrace, plus the owner’s stationery and gift shop downstairs. Since we had bikes, it was handy to leave them overnight under the house’s arches. I’d recommend it to others for a one-night stay too.

The rooms are simple, clean, and tidied daily if you want that. The bathroom looked very modern and was spotless too. Staff were polite and helpful with questions or problems, and breakfast was tasty. Awesome!

A good base for exploring the surrounding hills, especially for a couple of days. Rooms are neat and clean, and there’s a little souvenir shop on the first floor with plenty to choose from. Breakfast is served across the road at the other hotel.
