The staff were polite and helpful, and there's a decent restaurant attached. The nearest bus stop is only about a 30 metre walk. Use the Achensee Welcome card from the hotel for free local buses, which worked out far better and cheaper than renting a car. Our room was one of the nicest we've stayed in, especially with its small, sunny reading annex.

The view of the surroundings first thing in the morning was unreal. We also had incredible rooms, great service, and wonderful meals. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive. Five stars from this South African tourist.

We were staying next door at the Klinger hotel and ate dinner at its restaurant every day that week. The service was top notch and the food quality outstanding. Each evening we were offered a tasty, generous three-course meal, with a few choices to select from the day before. I'd recommend the meat and local beers.

There was plenty of parking, and a Spar supermarket on the ground floor for groceries to take back to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was small but fresh, clean, and more than enough. The staff were friendly and professional, and everything felt newly refurbished and clean. My family and I had a very nice stay and would come again. There was also a nice cafe and restaurant, reached through a tunnel under the hotel 😀. Other facilities included a sauna, a drying room for ski clothes and equipment, a table tennis room, and an ironing room.

Frau Klingler provided superb customer service. The rooms were spacious and very nice, and hygiene was good. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety.
