The location and cleanliness were good, but the cold made this stay deeply unpleasant. We tried several times to get the heating going, yet the temperature stayed uncomfortably low. Nights were especially hard, and we couldn't get a decent sleep. It felt like sleeping in an unheated basement. I find a freezing accommodation completely unacceptable, especially in the cold season. We definitely won't return.

There was no view, but the price was really low compared with nearby places, and inexpensive food was available at the campsite close by. We stayed in the small ground-floor apartment, which was practical and thoughtfully set up. The shower and toilet had a window for ventilation. With a bit of luck, you might get one of the three carport spaces. Mr. Haaser was friendly and very helpful, and gave us good hiking advice. Thanks again.

The apartment itself is very nice, but I wouldn't want to return because of how unfriendly the landlord was toward guests and dog owners. He told us he'd had trouble with previous tenants whose dogs damaged the property, so dogs couldn't be left alone in the apartment. He also said the place needed regular airing because humidity builds up quickly. If he noticed condensation on the window, he said he would come into the apartment himself to air it out. Google stopped me from using clearer language in this review.

The one good thing was that the apartment was clean. Otherwise, it was dark, cold, and uncomfortable, with a layout that made the couch, seating area, and chairs unpleasant to use. The bed was so bad that we woke up with back pain every day. On cold, wet days there was no heating, and there wasn't even a blanket. No garbage bags, no dish soap, just one roll of toilet paper, and everything else was self-catering. The towels were old and thin, worse than the ones my dog has at home. The landlord seemed to cut corners on guests, and when we tried to leave a day early, we still had to pay the full price. Outrageous. I haven't left a review this bad in a long time. I don't understand the positive reviews, maybe those people haven't stayed anywhere better. Never again.
