The sauna area was clean and pleasant, with a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, and a relaxation room. It's not especially large, but it was well cared for. The hotel is also conveniently placed for driving to the Zillertal resorts and Hintertux Glacier. Our room had a view of Achensee lake and felt fresh and cozy, and we had a relaxing stay. The hotel has been in the same family's hands since the 1980s, and that personal care shows. They make breakfast themselves and serve aromatic Americano in Villeroy & Boch cups. The meal was excellent, especially the scrambled eggs, fresh natural yogurt, and tasty locally made jams. The hotel is in very good shape despite its long history. Soundproofing was good, internet stable, parking available, and the water pressure strong. We'd be happy to come back.

My little son and I felt completely at home here. The hotel has such a warm, atmospheric feeling throughout, and our stay was a wonderful experience. If we come to Maurach again, this is the hotel we'll choose.

The team went out of their way to help get my lost luggage delivered, and I'm incredibly grateful. The hotel is also in a great location, with spacious, clean rooms and excellent breakfasts. Many thanks to the hotel and the family who run it.

The garden and hotel were very well kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the sauna, slept comfortably in the beds, and had a delicious breakfast with lots of variety. A great place to stay by Achensee.

Everything we needed in town was within walking distance. Our room suited us well, with a balcony and a breathtaking mountain view. The staff were always smiling and very helpful. What an amazing place to stay.
