Haus Schitter is an easy five-minute walk from the center, and the castle and restaurant Burgschenke are about ten minutes away. We had a lovely stay and can recommend it. Mrs. Essl made us feel relaxed and very welcome. Breakfast was a treat, with green-shelled eggs from her hens, plus homemade jams, cordials, and honey. Our ensuite room was spotless and very spacious, with comfortable beds and a separate dressing room. Great value for money!

We’ve visited many times and are always extremely happy. Mrs. Eva is wonderful, the place is lovely, and the breakfasts are very good. We especially love the coffee cups. This is a place we just love.
