The restaurant is full of locals every evening, which says a lot, and the prices felt reasonable for the hospitality and authentic character. It feels like being welcomed into a family home, with a cozy warmth throughout and a strong sense of history. It's been a guesthouse since the 16th century! The family-run feel is genuine, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Rooms are spacious and comfortable despite the historical furniture, and the bathrooms even have heated floors. The sauna was very satisfying, and breakfast had a great choice of local and organic food, including a lovely variety of breads, semmels, and rolls. A real gem, highly recommended.

The food was excellent, tasty and served hot, and we'd thoroughly recommend it. We had lunch here in late September, when it seemed to be the only place open in the village. Even though our dog meant we were the only ones seated outside, the service was very friendly and attentive.

It was lucky to find somewhere in the area around Spielberg and F1 ring with the kitchen still open later in the evening. The food was good, and the service was especially fast and efficient. Thank you!

The place isn't modern, but it was very clean and the service was lovely, with lots of smiles. The food was absolutely tasty, even if my first impression was a little hesitant. Big plus for the vegetarian options and fish.

Without a doubt, our best meal in Austria. The sauerkraut was sweet and not overpowering, and a delight with the meat knödel, which arrived in a comical cannon and were a fun surprise. The spinach knödel were light and lovely too. The goat's cheese salad was very good, though maybe a tiny bit overzealous with the dressing. My kid said the schnitzel was delicious, and none was left. They also have the biggest meringue I've ever seen.
