The waitstaff came across as condescending, which didn't feel hospitable. Unfortunately, the service fell short of what I expected.

The professional, courteous service was led by Mrs. Maria, who was always in a good mood. She and the team served and explained each course with real enjoyment. The chef deserves kudos for the excellent dishes, made with regional and seasonal products in such a lovely combination. We had a wonderful evening and will be back. Thanks to everyone on the team.

The food was good, but the pressure to buy extras really put us off. It gives you the impression that whatever is offered is included, and things are pushed without your consent. We wanted the à la carte menu, but on arrival they said they were fully booked, though they weren't, and told us we had to take the set menu. We won't return.

This was our third visit during spring break, with 12 people, and it may be our last. The food is very good, but I agree with Andreas T that they're extremely focused on selling. Maria asked whether champagne was okay for the aperitif. I said yes, but was shocked to see 476€ for two bottles on the bill. It feels like cheating your guests. They also keep opening water bottles through the evening without asking whether we want more. The water alone came to 78€. From past visits, I knew to be careful with the caviar too, which can also make the bill a big surprise. I go to quite a few good restaurants, including Michelin ones, in Belgium, but if they did this, they'd soon be out of business.
