Donauhof

We had a nice stay, with clean, pleasant rooms and good food. The river views are beautiful if you're on that side, while the other side looks onto a cute garden. Reception was very pleasant, and I appreciated being able to reserve by phone. No complaints.

The bar and restaurant feel like a traditional Austrian Gasthof, which is brilliant, while the modern exterior carries through to the large, immaculate rooms. It was really quiet at night. Everyone on staff was friendly, even when we turned up hot, sweaty, and tired in our motorcycle gear. Both dinner and breakfast were superb, and so were the beer and wine.

A pleasant place to stay, with tidy modern rooms, good service, and nice people.

I booked this for a business trip to Linz. The location is good, overlooking the Danube and not far from Linz, and the staff were kind and very helpful. My room was modern and very clean, and breakfast had plenty of good choices, including healthier ones. Booking was the only downside: I couldn't find an English option on the website, though I managed.
