The neighborhood was quiet, which was just what we needed after a noisy day in the city centre. The room was clean, cozy, and smelled lovely. Messaging through Booking was quick, and they were so kind and helpful to me and my dog. We really enjoyed our stay. I’d recommend it, and if we’re in Wien again, we’ll stay here another time)))!

My flight was canceled because of airline disruptions related to the Middle East crisis, which was completely outside my control. I promptly contacted the owner, explained what happened, and politely asked to cancel and get a refund. I never got a response, not even an acknowledgment. The booking was then marked as a “no-show” without any communication, and I was charged the full amount. I booked through Booking.com, and this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. Ignoring a guest during a genuine travel emergency and taking the full payment without discussion showed no empathy or professionalism. There was no effort to communicate or resolve things fairly. It felt like taking advantage of the situation, which is unacceptable. I’d strongly caution others before booking this property.

The cleaning was our main problem. My wife spent hours trying to get two apartments clean enough that we wouldn’t worry about catching an infection. That’s simply not acceptable, and they need to do much better. We knew this was a cheap apartment, so we expected some drawbacks. The beds were horrible for us, the old windows leaked, and the heating was adequate but not great. We checked apartments 1a and 2c, and those had been upgraded, but the top apartment needed care. We did ask for extra heating and received some, which was okay, but it doesn’t change the cleaning issue.

The kitchenette is tiny, with just one hob, and the wardrobe is small. Still, the place was nearly perfectly clean and had a good supply of basic items and kitchen equipment. A bus stop is right outside, and the S-Bahn is a short walk away, with a fast connection to the city centre. Good quality and location. I’d stay again.
