We had a wonderful stay at Alpenhaus Lacknerbrunn with our large family. The house is comfortable and has everything we needed, and its quiet setting felt a long way from everyday bustle. The ski lifts were easy to reach by car, about 15 minutes away. Our landlord was friendly, helpful, reliable, and easy to deal with.

There’s loads of parking, and the Wi-Fi is good, which helps since normal phone reception is pretty poor. The house works really well for groups, even noisy birthday parties, and feels almost secluded, though there is one cabin a little farther away. It has a big commercial kitchen with cold storage, rooms with their own sinks, and plenty of toilets and showers. The lake is about a 40-minute walk, with a very good restaurant beside it. The landlady, the Webers in summer, was very friendly.
