The owners were incredibly friendly and helped us with everything we needed. They gave us ideas for things to do nearby and even offered us schnapps several times. We stayed with a couple of friends for several nights and really enjoyed the apartment. It was clean, tidy, and homely, with the equipped kitchen and bathrooms we needed. A family could easily feel at home here too. The location was excellent, just a two-minute walk from the main street with lots of restaurants and shops close by. It also made a great base for hiking, with nature and the cable cars reachable on foot.

Brigitte was a kind host and could help arrange taxis and other things. The TV had English and sports channels too. The place was modern, clean, and comfortable, and only a short walk from the train station, shops, and ski lifts.

The room itself was okay, but the host made our holiday completely miserable. She regularly came in without warning, including once when one of the girls in our group was only in a towel. She repeatedly accused us of causing damage and tried to charge us. Other residents told us she had tried to get money from them for the same damage. Her explanation was that she didn't know who caused it, so everyone in the building had to pay. One of the girls had to leave a day early, and the host kept her passport until 4am, just before she left for the airport. If privacy and a non-hostile environment matter to you, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

We really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were wonderfully friendly, and the apartments are spacious and very nice, right in the center of Mayrhofen.

The friendly landlords arranged a bread delivery that worked perfectly, and surprised us with doughnuts (Berliner) and a schnapps at the end. Thanks again! We stayed in the first-floor apartment with our group of guys and were completely satisfied. The layout was well thought out, and the box-spring beds were very comfortable. Thanks to the central location, we could walk everywhere. We'd love to come back!
