We had a really nice evening meal here, just a short walk from our hotel. The staff were friendly and the seating comfortable. There’s a great traditional menu, plus a self-serve salad bar with all main meals. Portions were generous, and mains were well priced at around €18-24.

They took very good care of one person in our group with a severe nut and peanut allergy, and we felt very welcome. The restaurant serves great, authentic Austrian food, and we liked it enough to come back a second time.

The salad bar was the standout for me: fresh, free, and well stocked. After a ski holiday with hardly any vegetables and plenty of beige, carb-heavy meals, that was a welcome change. Ländenhof sits across the river from the main part of Mayrhofen, but it’s worth the trip. The food is good quality and served in generous portions, with classic Austrian dishes. I’d recommend it.

We spent our anniversary here and were so happy with it. The hotel is in a quiet spot among the mountains, with beautiful views, while still close to the ski slopes and town centre. Dinner in the restaurant came in four courses, including soup, quiche and meat, then dessert. They asked about vegan options and allergies. The staff were really kind, and opening the windows in the morning to see that scenery was amazing.

We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, both at breakfast and dinner, which were included in our stay. The routines weren’t explained clearly at first, so there were moments when we weren’t sure what to do. Once we figured them out, everything went smoothly. We had a really nice stay.
