The restaurant and bar staff were very professional, and the food stood out for both its quality and how much there was. Our group of eight stayed at Neue Post for a week, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The sauna and pool area were fantastic too, though the outdoor pool could have been a few degrees warmer.

The staff are really kind and focused on service, and the hotel is very affordable. The rooms are about the right size, Wi-Fi works well, and there’s on site parking. It’s roughly a 10 minute drive to two different ski resorts. Breakfast at the on site restaurant was outstanding and included in at least our reservation. There’s also a nice bar for apres ski, and dinner at the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

The restaurant has three vegan main courses, and the staff are friendly. It’s a little expensive, but I like it, especially since at other places you often have to ask for vegan food or can’t get any. I recommend it.

The pools and quiet areas made it easy to relax after hiking, and now I want to come back in winter. I stayed at Hotel Neue Post in Mayrhofen, Austria, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in years. I spend close to 180 nights a year in 4-5 star places around the world, mostly in Europe, and this one really stood out. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently from the start. Check in was smooth, attentive, and genuinely warm. The food was fresh and outstanding, with creative dishes, a lovely wine list, and a good range of choices. The local game specialties were especially fantastic and prepared just right. The property is beautiful, and the family who own it clearly care about keeping it top notch. My room was large, nice, and very clean. I loved the his/her sinks and little extras like a washcloth. There’s also an underground tunnel between buildings, so I could get to the spa in my robe without crossing the street. I’m definitely returning for another break.
