Right in the city center, and it was so quiet. We stayed four nights and even managed to park in the backyard, though spaces there are very limited. There’s plenty of street and public parking nearby too. The reception lady was extremely nice, and breakfast was a very good continental spread from 8:00 to 9:30, with coffee made on an espresso machine. Our room and bathroom were spacious and cleaned every day. They changed the bedding after three nights. The bed was a bit soft but still comfortable. The heating sometimes made odd noises, and so did the bathroom light. The decor, well, was ugly.

The location was really convenient, and the staff were super nice. Breakfast was great, especially the coffee. I do have to be honest about the rooms, though: cleanliness needs improvement. Our bathroom wasn’t so nice.

The family rooms were great, with separate bedrooms, and were reasonably priced. It’s close to the Danube, with river-view restaurants that have outdoor seating nearby. Service and location were great too. Street parking is metered, and breakfast is worth paying for.

The restaurant was a lovely part of our stay. Its owner was super cool and suggested a few Austrian drinks. We tried several Italian dishes and chicken kebabs, and everything tasted fantastic. We stayed three nights and the owners were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and made the place feel cozy. The location is perfect for visiting Melk, and the price-performance ratio is top-notch. I’d highly recommend it.

We stayed here two years ago, and a lot has improved since then. The family room was clean and warm, there were plenty of towels, and the reception lady was the nicest. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options. A very nice B&B in the old town. Highly recommended, we’ll come again! ☺️
