A welcome change from the usual hotel and cafe breakfasts and traditional dishes. The food was awesome, and the coffee was really, really special too.

The staff are so friendly, they make you feel at home even when you're away from home. Breakfast was exceptional, and the hotel breakfast package even includes barista coffee, chai, matcha, and more. That was the cherry on top for me. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The coffee is fantastic, and now I understand why it's counted among the region's best. Diego's service was great, too. Friendly atmosphere, good pastries and food. Don't miss it.

We didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't comment on that, but we did stop at the cafe for coffee and cake. I've tried cappuccinos in all sorts of places and countries, and none have been as delicious and creamy as this one. Spectacular, and the service was amazing too. Cake was the one thing we struggled to find on our two-week Germany/Austria trip, until this stop. Sorry the cake in the photo is already partly eaten, we had to try it before writing this. All four kinds were to die for. Make sure you stop here on your journey!

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and we had a comfortable three-night stay at Hotel Bären. I can recommend it in the Vorarlberg region. The welcome and room cleaning could be more consistent, though. Our room wasn't fully ready when we arrived, and there were marks on the walls, for example from bags and suitcases.
