The guesthouse doesn’t seem to care about its customers. Contact with the property was mediocre, and instead of explaining the situation, reception argued with me and offered no alternative solutions. I don’t recommend it.

This was our third stay at Familienhotel Steind, and we’re glad we came back. The owners are welcoming and always ready to help. Meals are delicious and plentiful, and the rooms are cozy, very clean, and cleaned every three days. After skiing, the spa area helped us recover. The ski slopes are no more than 20 km away. We’ll definitely return.

The view over Lake Millstatt was fantastic, and the hosts were a really friendly, helpful couple. Our five-room apartment was in the annex, with four double bedrooms, a big eat-in kitchen and fully equipped kitchenette, a large dining table, and TVs in every room. It was clean and modern. We had breakfast in the hotel building; there was everything we needed and the buffet kept getting topped up. The wellness area had a sauna, steam room, infrared sauna, and a small indoor pool that felt a bit too cold. There was plenty of room there. We'd happily come back.

The staff were so friendly and courteous, and dinner was delicious, nicely prepared, and beautifully presented. I was welcomed warmly, and my room is clean and freshly renovated. The shower works perfectly too. Looking forward to a good night's rest and a lovely breakfast...
