We loved it here again on our third stay at Goetzfriedhof. The Palle family is so welcoming, and breakfast with their delicious homemade treats is available as an optional extra. The apartments are beautiful, with fantastic views over Lake Millstatt. There’s a private beach area right next door with loungers and a refrigerator, and it’s a lovely place to soak up the lakeside atmosphere. Back at the accommodation, the shared terrace is great for relaxing, enjoying the view, playing games, or chatting with the Palle family and other guests, especially after a hike. The place is well situated for exploring all the beautiful spots nearby. We also got a peek inside the newly renovated alpine chalet. It’s been decorated with care, blending traditional character with modern touches for an authentic alpine feel. If you want a peaceful mountain break among cows and goats, with a breathtaking lake view, this is the place. We’ll stay here next time too.
