We found the owners friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the apartment was excellent value. It’s simply furnished, but has everything you need for a holiday and was clean and well looked after. Having the bus stop nearby is very handy. If we come back to Kleinwalsertal, I’d book this apartment again.

The balcony was lovely for breakfast in the morning sun, or a coffee later in the morning in winter. Inside, the apartment is spacious and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The decor is a little dated, though it’s not worn out, and there’s almost every comfort you could want. The owner is friendly and caring, which really adds to the holiday. Public transport gets you around the whole valley, so you can leave the car at home and relax.

Even at 62, I’m welcomed very warmly here. I’ve had more than 20 wonderful years of cross-country skiing and personal attention. It’s a wonderful place to stay, and I don’t understand all the criticism. Greetings from Germany, and thank you. Stay healthy, Mrs. Wiesenstein.

We’ve rented from Gästehaus Winsauer three times now and have been very happy with it. We’ve been in winter twice and came in early summer this time. The area is beautiful for hiking, and the Walserbus stop is fairly nearby. Good restaurants are about a 15-20 minute walk away. The hostess is very friendly.

It’s a small family-run guesthouse, and the owner is a little eccentric. You have to leave your shoes at the entrance and can’t wear them into your room, so remember to bring slippers.
