Haus Walser Berge

We had such a great holiday last year. The apartment was lovely and well located, with beautiful hiking as well as winter sports and skiing. The bus service is excellent, so there's no need for a car. That's why we've booked again for 2024🥰

We had a great week in apartment 3 as a couple. It's roomy, clean, and tidy, and the parts of the house we saw were just as well kept. The apartment faces north toward a lovely mountain view, and the amenities, including an infrared sauna, are excellent. Before booking, our contact with the landlords was pleasant. In summer, the included bus and lift pass was a real bonus. We left the car parked all week since the free buses run regularly through the villages and past the lift stations. There are several great cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Mittelberg's village center has more choice and is reachable on foot, though the climb can be a bit much if mobility is limited. Some places fill up, so booking ahead is a good idea. For groceries, there's the charming little neighborhood shop "nah und gut," run by an elderly couple. It's a bit of a walk toward Baad. M-Preis in the village has a bigger selection, but is farther away and, honestly, less fun. A positive stay for us!

The ground floor has a Stube that all the guests can use, and Hans and Odette always have useful tips. We spent a lovely week at Haus Walser Berge with them. The apartments are fully equipped, have a beautiful view, and each has its own ceramic sauna.

A lovely spot in a beautiful area, whether you visit in summer or winter. The apartments are fantastic and fully equipped, with a sauna in each one. The hosts are very friendly. Highly recommended.
