We couldn’t stay as planned, but the hotel team dealt with our cancellation clearly, fairly, and courteously. They were efficient and respectful throughout, and the management’s professionalism left us with a very positive impression. Based on that experience, we’d happily book again and recommend the hotel.

We still find ourselves comparing other places to Hotel Schloss Mittersill, even though my husband and I stayed there a while ago. The grounds and pool were beautiful, our room was stunning, and the whole stay felt relaxing. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were the friendliest. The town is very small and there isn’t much to do, but that was fine with a hotel this lovely. It made for a perfect weekend away.

The views are incredible, and the staff deserve a special mention for being so kind and professional. The castle has a lot of history, too, and the meals are thoughtfully put together. Calling this place a 4.7 feels almost criminal.

The food was amazing, from the multi-course dinner to a breakfast that went well beyond most included breakfasts. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we could easily have spent a week here. Can’t wait to come back!

We stop at the restaurant whenever we’re on our way back from Tyrol. It’s in a beautiful castle with lovely views, and the decor mixes antiques and modern pieces really well. The food is excellent. Highly recommend it.
