The owners were so kind and welcoming, and because there was an open slot, we could extend our stay. The apartment was beautiful, modern, spotless, and had everything we needed. If you do forget something, there’s a Spar just a few hundred meters away. The Hochkönig Card also gives you free access to six cable cars, buses, and a small but lovely aqua park that’s even closer than Spar. Absolutely 10/10 :-) We’d love to come back.

We always feel at home at Haus Birnbacher. The Rieder family welcomes us so warmly, and the apartment is clean and cozy. After years of ski holidays in Mühlbach am Hochkönig, we still look forward to the generous, delicious breakfast. We stayed at Haus Birnbacher with friends last summer. The apartment was lovely and clean, and the hosts were really friendly. The house is beautiful, the view is wonderful, and the hosts are very welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the garden has a few play structures for children. With the Hochkönig Card, there’s plenty to do across the valley. The apartment is cozy and very clean, with excellent furnishings and a kitchen stocked with everything you might need. The beds were comfortable, and the stream outside made a lovely sound to fall asleep to. They even offer bread delivery.
