I stayed three nights at Haus Rainer and felt at home from my first meeting with the host. My apartment was simple but full of life, as well as tidy and clean. The balcony view was phenomenal, the sort you could wake up to every morning. It also worked well as a base for exploring. Hallstatt was about 1 hour 20 minutes away, and Innsbruck around 2 hours 15 minutes. I'd definitely recommend it if you're after a relaxing stay surrounded by nature.

The weather kept changing, but we still had a fantastic holiday at Haus Rainer. The owners are so friendly and make you feel at home, and the balcony view is unbeatable. Families have plenty of varied, enjoyable activities to choose from. With the Hochkönig Card and Guest Mobility Card, we could go on lovely hikes in different places without needing our own car. Salzburg is also easy to reach for free. I'd recommend Haus Rainer 100%!

We were a group of nine and all felt comfortable at Haus Rainer. The rooms were very clean and furnished for comfort, and the family running the house were incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. We’ve been coming to Mühlbach for nearly 40 years and felt very comfortable in your house too. The rooms and apartment are well kept, and your hospitality is hard to beat.
