We didn't arrive expecting much, so the room upgrade was a lovely surprise. The design was superb and seemed to have everything thought through. Everyone was welcoming and attentive to details. Dinner was another pleasant surprise: we had a great salad and a fantastic meat plate. Kudos to the whole staff!

The restaurant really impressed us, and the food was lovely as room service too. We already want to return. At Stieg’nhaus in Mühlbach am Hochkönig, the suites feel special without going overboard, with carefully chosen details, luxe finishes, and wonderfully comfortable beds. My wife especially liked the Dyson kit ;) It had the feel of a stylish, warm mountain home, with stunning views and thoughtful design throughout. The staff made the trip memorable as well. They were genuinely kind, helped with our plans and advice, and added little touches that made us feel looked after like friends. We were the only guests on the first night, but they made sure it never felt awkward. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, a nice place to unwind after a day in the Alps or simply enjoy the quiet.

Sandra made a big difference during our stay. We were traveling as a family of five with different preferences and needs, and she remembered what each of us liked. She responded quickly and was warm, thoughtful, professional, and genuinely caring. The whole staff helped us feel at home. The restaurant was another highlight. Chefs from Spain and Italy brought great skill and creativity to the food, and every meal stood out. I think it could deserve Michelin star recognition in the future. Part of me wants to keep this place a secret, but the experience was too remarkable not to share. Stiegenhaus Design Hotel is also beautiful, with details reflecting owners Tom and Maria’s taste and care for design and quality materials. They have made it sophisticated while still welcoming. As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador member, I've stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, and this is one of the most memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to returning.

The circular suite was a standout, especially its unbelievable in-room sauna. Breakfast and service were memorable too, and no request felt like too much. We got plenty of advice and even some gifts, and both the massages and facials we had were highlights. We often gravitate toward Marriott's Design Hotels because we've found them among the world's most beautiful. At stieg’nhaus, the unassuming exterior gave way to an interior that left us stunned. The style throughout is gorgeous, and every detail feels carefully considered. For a perfect stay, this place is hard to beat.
