The church bells rang at unpredictable times, sometimes every half hour through the night, so sleeping could be difficult. Opening a window also brought in the smell of cow manure. There was nowhere to do laundry, so we had to leave it with the elderly woman, and after waiting ten days she lost about half our clothes. The shared kitchen was crowded with strangers from the floor, and the oven was so bad it was hard to get a turn. In most apartments there are no closets, so clothes have to stay in bags. Some toilets also have no sink, leaving you unable to wash your hands if someone is in the shower. Enjoy your stay. Lovely place.

The rooms were awful, with tiny bathrooms and no TV. Five people were put in a room meant for two, maybe with space for one child.

The Alpbachtal apartment was roomy and had everything we needed. Fresh rolls arrived each day, and the location worked really well for day trips. The children loved getting a taste of farm life, helping in the stable, feeding the animals, and riding ponies. With so many animals and a playground, they were never short of things to do. The host family was open, warm, and welcoming, so we felt at home right away. Thanks for such a lovely stay. We'd be glad to return!

We were only 15 minutes from the ski lifts, with a shop and pizzeria nearby. The rooms were nice and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the rooms were very warm.
