The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the waiters gave great service, which made the disappointing food stand out even more. I had the fish special, supposedly with a herb crust, but it was dry, bland white fish topped with grated potato. My husband's burger and fries were bad too. He was hungry after skiing and ate it, but the fries were pale and barely cooked. Maybe the chef wanted to go home. The waiter noticed I hadn't eaten and offered dessert. I wasn't sure if he meant it was free, so I said no. The bill was charged as usual, and perhaps they didn't think they needed to make up for the meal because we were tourists. I don't like leaving negative reviews and rarely do, but the food was poor enough that I wanted to balance out the five-star ratings. Maybe it was just an off night, and it's a young business that could improve. I wouldn't say not to go, but keep your expectations in check.
