I was blown away by the food at Gastric Waldvirt. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the staff were so polite and welcoming. A must-visit! 🍽️💯

We found this place while looking for somewhere to eat away from the main road. It was a lovely inn, and the team seated us right away and looked after us brilliantly. The food was delicious, and we'll gladly come back when we're next on holiday in this beautiful region. Thanks for a pleasant evening, dear team at Gasthof Waldwirt. Kind regards.

We stayed at the Waldwirt for 7 nights, and the family were very friendly and helpful. It's right in the forest, close to the mountains and lakes, with lovely rooms and comfortable beds. After a hike, we could cool off in the pool before enjoying the truly excellent food. An ideal spot for a holiday in the Carinthian countryside, and it stands out from many other options. Highly recommended!

The food was very good, and the portions were decent. The service was quite disappointing, though. We waited over half an hour after arriving just to get drinks and a menu. The extra drinks we'd ordered only came as we were leaving, and then the server seemed surprised that we didn't want the half-liter portions anymore.
