Top notch!

I’ve already marked this down for my next overnight stop on the way to Italy. It’s a small, well-run guesthouse with a friendly hostess and large, clean rooms. Breakfast was adequate, and it’s ideal for a stopover.

The Post family were so welcoming and full of helpful ideas for things to do. I felt at home right away, and the price was more than reasonable. They were friendly from the start, even with the COVID-19 restrictions in place. I picked this guesthouse for its central location relative to the places I wanted to see. The website looked appealing and well put together, and when I emailed the Post family, they replied warmly and quickly. I also appreciated that there wasn’t an excessive extra charge for traveling alone. Nassereith is a small, quiet village, just what I wanted for a relaxing vacation. Evenings and nights were wonderfully quiet; you could hardly hear a thing. The house was bigger than it looked in the photos. My room was very clean and had everything I needed, including a great bathroom and a large balcony. Breakfast was just right for me: sausage, cheese, jam, and an egg on request, along with coffee or tea, different rolls and breads, and juice. They always checked whether I had enough, and guests could bring their own packed lunch too. I’m absolutely delighted, would highly recommend staying here, and will definitely come back.

The apartment was spotless, and the whole place was well kept and pleasantly modernized. From at least eight windows we could see the mountains, and we had a large balcony. It was quiet, with holiday destinations nearby. Zita really makes an effort to keep guests happy, from bringing a slice of cake to providing near-perfect service. Thank you! We highly recommend Gästehaus Frischhut and would happily return, even for hiking in and around Garmisch. Climbing walls and chamois are only a three-minute walk away. We left completely satisfied and happy. Six stars!
