The mountain setting is beautiful, and the place has a charming feel, especially the traditional restaurant and its local food. Our welcome was polite, though we got the impression the host was a bit disappointed we'd booked through Airbnb instead of directly. For a one-night stay, we still had to pay the tourist tax, but didn't get the usual benefits like free mountain access or public transport. Given the cost, a small gesture would have been appreciated. Breakfast was very basic at 9€ and didn't seem homemade or local. With the tourist tax and extra fee for scrambled eggs, breakfast for two came to around 33€, which felt excessive for what was offered. There was also a strong focus on payment and cash during the stay, and that made the hospitality seem a little less genuine. The rooms are okay for one night, but old-fashioned and not very comfortable for the price. The location makes this fine for a short stop, but at around 112€ a night, we don't think it's really worth it.

The food was amazing, and the staff were great and friendly. It's a family-run place with people who genuinely care. Excellent stay, highly recommend when you're in Innsbruck.

The area was great for short hikes and walks, and we could also enjoy a horse or pony ride on the farm. It was pet friendly too, so bringing my dog was easy. We even got a great view of the polar lights. I decided to spend my holiday here and loved the room. It was comfortable and had all the amenities I could need, with a real home-like feel. The food was not to be missed, especially the seasonal asparagus dish. They also had homemade drinks, which were surprisingly amazing. Perfect choice for families.
