After visiting for three years in a row, it feels like coming home for the holidays. We have a child who needs special food and attention, and from the first day everything was perfect. Everyone was very friendly, from reception and the kitchen to the ladies who cleaned our room.

On my first Transalp race, we got a dinner coupon that could be used at this hotel’s restaurant. The service was terrible. Two waiters came to take our order, but when we asked for a menu, neither came back. A third person arrived and refused to speak English. The menus were all in German too, so we had no option but to leave.

The “pet friendly” label seems misleading. We tried to have dinner at the "Post". After welcoming us at first, they asked us to leave in a very unfriendly way, saying a dog was impossible for hygiene reasons and that “this is a no go.” It was 08:30, and it seemed obvious to me the lady simply didn’t want to serve another guest with the kitchen officially closing 30 minutes later. Nauders has some great places, though. I’d recommend the Löwen, Martha's or Luiz for their great food and super friendly, amazing staff. Don’t let a bad experience at the Post spoil your time.

The staff were nice, the food was great, and it’s a good place to stay with high customer service. The sauna was nice too. But the pool was so cold I couldn’t stand staying in it, and the pool table felt rather expensive for what it is.
