Landgasthof Schuster

The apartment was spacious, the food was very good, and the hosts were relaxed and the service was great. We felt comfortable and would recommend half-board for a really enjoyable holiday. The location works well for hikers and cross-country skiers. The lift beside the house wasn't running, so hopefully it'll be back in service soon. The other lifts are easy to reach by car or bus, with the stop right in front of the house. We'd happily return.

The daily specials bring changing dishes alongside the classics, and some of the food is presented right at your table. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the menu has plenty of variety. Breakfast has a wide selection, including homemade treats, and the family clearly cares about quality. The rooms and restaurant are charming and spotless, while the friendly staff make it easy to feel at home. It's a family-run place with real attention to detail. For winter sports, the hotel's ski room and views of the slope and Rote Flüh mountain are added bonuses. Gasthof Schuster is always worth a visit for me, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

Cross-country trails start right outside the door, and we had a great apartment where we felt completely at ease. We spent 8 wonderful days at the country inn. The food was delicious, with a choice of 5 dishes each evening as part of half-board, and the whole team was very friendly. We'll be back!
