Dinner was something we looked forward to each evening, and we never felt the need to eat out. We had half board, with lots of tasty choices for everyone, and the soups deserve a special mention. During our three February nights at Alta Vista with friends, the hosts were welcoming and helpful. There was a small mix-up over the rooms, but the owner changed the booking to suit us, even in the busy ski season. If we visit Neukirchen again, we'll make sure to stay at Alta Vista.

The balcony view is breathtaking, and the rooms are clean, spacious and furnished in a practical way. We spent a week here in summer and had a great time. László is a lovely host, with valuable knowledge about the area and always a suggestion for what to do among all the options. I'd recommend asking for dinner, the food is generous but not heavy. We want to return, and renting an e-bike is a great way to explore Tirol.

The pictures online seem out of date, since the place has been fully renovated. We couldn't believe we got a room at such a low price with breakfast included. The view was a 10/10, the cleanliness too, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it to travelers passing through.

A good price, and the ski lift is about a 700 m walk; the skibus is close too. It's a typical ski pension with half board, which has a Romanian touch and is best suited to people who like meat. The rooms are a bit noisy, and there's no cosy bar.

The town views are incredible, and the hosts and service were both great.
