Hotel Angelika

We stayed six nights for skiing, and the friendly owner and staff made the whole visit feel special with their great service. The bus station is close by, the room was clean, and that bed was unbelievably comfortable, 10/10. Breakfast was delicious and dinner was great too. I hope we get to come back.

The food is what makes this little hotel stand out among the similar places in the valley. Breakfast was simple but excellent, with homemade butter and many other ingredients. Dinner in the dining room reserved for hotel guests was five courses, each just the right size and full of flavor. The main course was listed as “Gordon blue,” and it was a dream: a golden-fried veal cutlet folded around cheese and ham, juicy and melting in the mouth, with clearly high-quality ingredients. I have to come back someday just for that chef!

We’ve stayed at the Angelika many times over the years and always feel well looked after. Florian and Karin, and now their lovely daughters too, do everything they can to make the visit enjoyable. The food is wonderful, with lots of locally sourced ingredients prepared with care. Whether you’re here to ski in winter, walk or explore in summer, they’re on hand with route suggestions and knowledgeable advice about conditions. We hope to be back!

I had a fantastic week at Angelika in mid-March. After skiing, the spa was a lovely bonus, and there was a really friendly feel throughout. My room was comfortable, breakfast had a very good choice, and the five-course dinner was great. The facilities went beyond what I expected for a *** Hotel. It deserves an extra star 🤩
