The view depends on which of the four apartments you pick, but they all have a balcony or terrace. Our room was beautiful and clean, with a great mountain outlook. The kitchen had only a few dishes, pots, and pieces of cutlery, so it was a bit sparsely equipped. At least the dishwasher made cleaning up quick.

We stayed at Lärchenheim Apartment 1, about a five-minute walk from the hotel. Some parts of the route are quite steep, but it'll keep you fit. The apartment was lovely and the beds very comfortable, with a breathtaking view straight across to the glacier and waterfall. The kitchen equipment could do with a check.

The apartment itself was nice, but we couldn't make a hot meal like pasta for five because there wasn't enough cookware. There also weren't enough large, deep plates for all five of us. We asked reception midway through the stay for more pots and plates, and they did arrive, but only on the very last evening, so they weren't usable for us. The building's front doors, not the apartment doors, were broken and never shut properly.

There were five of us, two adults and three grandchildren, and the apartment was spacious, very clean, and had two bathrooms. The glacier and waterfall views were magnificent. We could get meals at Hotel Gasteigerhof, about 250 metres away on our daily walk. Our grandson even made friends with two cats there.

A quiet setting, and our apartment had a beautiful view of the Stubai Glacier and Mischbach Waterfall. The apartments are very nice.
