The staff made a big impression on us, from the hosts and reception team to the waiters and cleaners. Lisa at reception deserves a special thanks for being so kind and helpful every time. We also loved the food, at both breakfast and dinner, including the vegetarian options. It wasn’t Michelin-star cooking, but it was really good, and I looked forward to the afternoon pastries every day. We spent three nights here after doing quite a bit of research and wondering which hotel to choose. We have no regrets about picking Stubaierhof. Our room had a balcony looking toward Elfer mountain, where we could watch paragliders gliding down. The hotel has a lovely feel, from the bar and garden to the spa. There’s a family textile sauna, plus a 16+ section with several saunas. We enjoyed the warm outdoor pool, which is small but has bubbles and mountain views, and the indoor pool too. Little touches were well thought out: drinks and snacks in the wellness area, sauna towels, bathrobes and large towels for the spa and garden, along with lockers and a changing room. Make sure you arrive hungry.

After a day on the slopes, the pools and saunas were a great way to relax. We especially liked having the second outdoor pool, which felt lovely in the winter setting. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, and the staff were friendly and professional, with real care for their guests. It was our first visit, for a three-day ski trip, and the stay went beyond what we expected. Highly recommended.

Neustift worked really well for a relaxed holiday, with pleasant walks, restaurants and bars, and easy links to different resorts. We particularly enjoyed an evening drink at Bierfassl. From our room we had an astonishing view, and it was fun watching paragliders land in the field across the road. The hotel was quiet and beautiful, and we slept comfortably in its cosy room. Coming from Scotland, we found it quite warm and kept the window open at night, which was no hardship. The spa was a treat, especially the evening with punch and a fire by the outdoor pool, and the wellness area’s late opening. We’ve just come back from a lovely week at Der Stubaierhof. The welcome was warm and the service stayed wonderful throughout, so everything felt easy and relaxed. Breakfast was fresh and tasty each day, with thoughtful extras like a juicer and a range of seeds and dried fruit.

We booked half board, and both the afternoon cake buffet and dinner were delicious. The whole team helped make my birthday feel welcoming and memorable. Everyone was so friendly, from reception and dinner service to the poolside staff. Thanks for making my special day so enjoyable.

The spa was a highlight, though the pool got a bit noisy with all the children. We had a great three-night stay in a lovely, spacious two-bedroom room on the first floor, just right for three friends. The hospitality was excellent, everyone was friendly, and the food was good.
