We arrived late on Saturday evening, and the owner helped us order dinner from a local restaurant. She translated the menu and called in the order for us. It was around 30 celsius when we got there, so they even served us cold beer. The shower, bathroom, and room were clean, and the owners were really friendly. We left at 5.00 the next morning because of the heat wave, and she had breakfast ready for us in the fridge. Great place, and I’d happily stay again.

I was only passing through for one night, but Haus Tina was a real help in rural Austria. The self check-in instructions were clear, and the place was clean and quiet, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. It’s about a 30min walk from Niklasdorf train station. I missed the last train from Bruck an der Mur, but obb kindly gave me a taxi voucher for the final leg. That worked out great.

We stayed for three weeks, four of us in two rooms, while attending classes at Leoben University. It was a good experience. The owner was polite and helped sort out household matters. The house is up in the mountains beside a small forest, so it’s calm and quiet, a nice setting for a family weekend away. Bicycles are available on request. The city is around 5kms away, and public transport is at least 200m from the house.
