We loved our 10-day summer stay in 2019. The grounds were a big hit with the kids, with a trampoline, zip line, small freestanding pool, Wendy House, and ride-on pedal tractors. The local Strandbad was about a 20-minute walk, the small supermarket around 10 minutes, and a really good restaurant about five minutes away. Obertraun itself is a beautiful little place to stay, far better than Hallstatt. The family running the place were helpful and relaxed. The village-style exterior matched the rest of the area, while the inside was fairly new, clean, and functional. Our basic apartment suited us well, with comfortable beds, a decent-sized, well-equipped kitchen, and no WiFi problems. I'd really recommend it for families.

The backyard has a nice playground and animals, and the location is great. Our room was clean and big enough for a family of five. Thank you very much.

The hotel staff were just as cheerful as the people in Austria seemed to be. The room was spacious and clean, and I could watch the mountain from the window. Thank you for a lovely holiday. I did sometimes have trouble connecting to WiFi, and the internet speed was unusable.
